Ordering From Thorne Antiques and Collectables:
Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. You have the option of selecting an alternative delivery address to enable you to have gifts sent direct to the recpient or your work address etc.
Delivery schedule:
We try to process all orders, where possible, within 24 hours. Whilst most items will be despatched within one working day, please allow 3-5 days for delivery within the UK. 5-7 days for Europe and 7-14 days Rest of World.
Payment:
We accept secure online payments through the website using your Credit Card or UK Debit Card. The whole payment is conducted by Protx, Online and in real time, (so no physical person has access to your payment details at any point during the process).
If you prefer to place your order over the phone please call us on 0845 4797128 and we will take your order and payment simultaneously using our own payment faclilities. We are established retailers and our payment service is provided by 'Streamline' (the UK's biggest supplier of Card Payment Services) assuring you of a smooth transaction.
Finally we are pleased to accept Cheques or Postal Orders from UK customers and allow 5 working days clearance time before dispatching any goods. To pay by cheque or postal order please add items to your basket as normal and you will be given the option to post your payment at checkout.

Packaging:
At Thorne Antiques and Collectables, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality packaging materials which includes recycled where possible to minimise environmental impact. We too buy online and can assure you nobody takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence, simply return the item and a replacement will be mailed out within one working day, free of any charge.
Returns:
If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 7 days. We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return. We do not refund postage costs unless an item arrives damaged due to our negligence. Items lost or damaged in the post that have been packed correctly are usually insured, we will fill out any necessary claims forms at the post office on your behalf and liaise with the correct Postal service to achieve a satisfactory outcome on your behalf. In the event that this becomes necessary please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from the Royal mail/Parcel force, this can take several weeks but we will endeavour to keep you informed of all developments as appropriate.
